How do I get a custom fire brand?

For custom orders, send us a drawing of your design, and we will create a CAD drawing of your image. We will send the CAD drawing to you for approval before we start.

Once we have the green light, we will send you an invoice and get to work. Your order should be completed and shipped within 2 weeks.

How are fire brands constructed?

Our fire brands are cast from a unique copper alloy: aluminum bronze. This alloy has high-temperature properties that include “breaks” or “vents” at intersecting lines to prevent blotching.

We use aluminum bronze rather than stainless steel because it holds heat better than other metals.

Aluminum bronze is also a very durable option, even if it has a lower melting point. This shouldn’t be a problem since normal branding does reach a high enough temperature to melt aluminum bronze.

However, you should not leave your brand unattended in a fire of unknown temperature for a long time due to the lower melting point.

What size fire brand should I get?

The character size for a typical cattle brand is 2½” to 3½” tall. The overall size of our brands usually ranges from 4-6 inches. We can also manufacture brands over 6 inches.
